My husband and I have been going to this Publix since we moved to Mauldin in 2015. Unfortunately, the Mauldin store doesn’t uphold the Publix name or quality of food. At least once a month we purchase somethibg that’s already expired. This includes eggs, milk, produce, and meats. It’s such a bummer that we have to constantly check the dates as we put items in our cart. I have notified management several times without any improvements. It sounds like Maildin is expecting an Aldi and a few other stores to open in 2018, we look forward to some fresher options for groceries in the future!

Normally I love Publix, but today the cashier had to write a message on his cellphone and didn't take my money because he had to write. People should work and not write messages on their phone, this is more than unrespectful and I should have left everything there. I am really mad.
Nice staff, clean store. But a bit aggravating. Cider not in the beer or wine isle, cooler or end caps... Gluten-free here.. not any alternatives in the coolers either like in other stores. Walked the whole store and didn't find an associate walking the store (not counting the deli or butcher associates.) Also rather pushy with your fundraising event.. I prefer to choose my charities Vs feel like a horrible person for not wanting to donate to a specific one. I donated anyways.
Tonight I went to Publix because I was craving crab legs, and everyone knows Publix has the best. Well I use to work there so I knew they put all the seafood away around 8:30pm. So I called to check and GREG (from the meat department) answered ad was very nice. He went to verify that they had some and told me he would keep them out until I arrived. When I got there he had a great smile on his face and let me pick out which clusters I wanted. I'm very please with his customer service and smile!! Thank you Greg!!
