There is no comparison with Ingles on Highway 25 out of Greenville. Dirty. Deli, people generally friendly but often no one out front and customer needs to ring bell to get attention. An OK shopping experience.
Maudlin location very clean and carry items that other stores may not. Good selections in Deli. Staff extremely friendly and customer focused. When I asked an employee about the location of an item, she said " let me show you". I was impressed.
For the most part, the selection at the store is wide and varied, with prices being the best value. However, I wish they had a larger organic line of produce and personal care products. The stores are always clean, the staff friendly and check out very done quickly and efficiently. I shop here at least once a week, and I'm always satisfied with the bargains I found that I wasn't even looking for.
I went in Ingles to buy meats for my family, and I got my money's worth. All the meats in the meat department looked good and priced cheap.
Store is very dark.. lights turned out presumably to save electricity.
